#46 on my list of things I want to do in my life is to visit Salem, Mass on Halloween. It wasn't Halloween day but I'm counting it since all the things they do on Halloween there happen through out the month of October. And we avoided the mass of people that are there on the 31st. It was perfect. We went to the Witch Museum and learned about the Salem Witch trials of 1692. It was interesting. The best part of the day was a visit to the House of Seven Gables. We took a tour that had live actors acting out scenes from the book. It was pretty spooky and very cool. We also did a similar one that had to do directly with the Salem Witch Trials. That one was even freakier. But I loved every second of it. The picture isn't the greatest. It's all I had that showed we were actually in Salem. I'm guessing Merilee has a better one.

this too is on my list to check off! Lucky you! When we went in September they hadnt set up for Halloween yet and I wasnt able to do anything so I didnt mark it off. Next time I'm going in October for sure!! Sounds like it was fun and spooky
