Corned Beef & Cabbage - St. Patrick's Day tradition

As I've stated before, St. Patrick's Day is a big deal around here.

And it's not because we are Irish.
I mean, we do have some Irish blood in our veins but that is not why it's a big deal.
It's a big deal because of a wee lass that does Irish dancing.

So here are some pictures for your St. Patrick's Day enjoyment (a wee bit late, sorry).

You know, I have never had corned beef and cabbage. I have Irish blood too, but not sure why this was never a tradition in our home. I guess other more prominent nationalities trumped the Irish in me. Maybe we need to start this.

My grandma was first generation American from Ireland and I still need to try corned beef and cabbage myself. I do dance the Irish jig often though!

I need your recipe. I have two heads of cabbage in my fridge and I'm not sure what to do with them....
