It's a key chain. We bought matching ones several years ago. And when I lost my keys last July it wasn't the keys I missed, it was my purple beaded flower with the metal swirl keychain that I missed. I have begged and begged my sister to give me hers and she won't. Isn't that mean? I mean I would have given her the shirt off my back (just not my purple beaded flower with metal swirl key chain).
I had done everything you do when you lose something. LOOK EVERYWHERE. They were not to be found. I had pinpointed it to our family reunion last summer. I was pretty sure that is the last time I remember having them.
This morning Chris walks in and lays a set of keys next to me on the desk. WHAT? Is that a purple beaded flower with metal swirl keychain? It is, It is, It is!!!!!!
Apparently it was in Chris' church bag. Yep, the same one he has used since the keys went missing. And he didn't discover them. Makenzie did. She said they were in one of the pockets.
Too funny. I'm glad I have my keychains back. Now I won't have to secretly take my sisters and remember to take it off my keys when she comes to visit.

How exciting to have finally found it. And funny that it was in something that was regularly being used. I'm glad you found it!
This is HILARIOUS! Very cute keychain. So glad you found it.
The reason I find this so funny is that I had a very similar experience (sans cute keychain) two years ago after going through the broken leg experience.
My much taller than me MIL was using my car and thus my keys to deliver my children various places. I noticed that when she'd return, she'd place the keys on top of the fridge. After getting the cast removed and getting the clearance to drive again, I can't tell you how many times I searched the top of the fridge (and behind it).
An entire year later, a long time after I'd given up hope, I happened to be looking through a canvas bag that had been sitting, obviously ignored, in my closet. And yes, it was a "church bag." As I picked up the bag, I heard a familiar jingle. It was the miniature Tupperware shape sorter ball key chain. I was THRILLED!
So glad you have yours back too!
Oh man I did something similiar. We had lost a set of keys (we thought on vacation a year ago). We'd gotten copies made (including horrifically expensive ones for the Camry), and then when we were unpacking from our trip to Hawaii, I found them. Yep they were in the suitcase pocket. Oh well, now we truly have spare keys. Which is always a good thing! :) So glad you got your keychain back! It's really pretty!
My cousin and I were talking today about how we wish we could call our keys when they are lost.
Yeah for you! I love finding lost things. What a cute keychain, too. I can see why you really missed taht.
it is so frustrating when you lose something that you just love! glad you found it!
That is a stinkin' cute keychain! I am very glad you found it :) Did you do a celebratory dance like I did when I found my cell phone? Woot Woot!
I would have wanted that keychain back as well!!! Yeah!!! who would have thought to liik where it is found??
Somehow I think I would have noticed it missing BEFORE I even left your house. Did you find your insole in another pocket? Or your camera? Now we have matchy-matchy key chains again!!!
Hooray, you found it. We lost our keys with the automatic unlock gadget about 9 months ago. We are still looking...
It's always those dumb random pockets. I always say out loud, "Look girls. This is where mommy is putting the keys. You need to remember so you can find them for me later."
