I loved camp so much as a kid and I love that my girls also love it. Emma and Heidi went to girlscout day camp this week. This was Emma's 3rd year and Heidi's 2nd. Makenzie went to our stake's girls' camp. Emma and Heidi had a blast singing their favorite songs and doing lot's of outdoor cooking since the theme this year was Little Chefs. Emma was old enough this year to stay the night on Thursday night. Heidi had a hard time with her being gone. She cried herself to sleep because she missed Emma. So sweet and so sad at the same time. Heidi loves her family so much. Makenzie also had a good time at camp. I didn't get as much information out of her as I did the younger two. Nor do I have any pictures of her at camp! She took our digital camera with her and took tons of pictures but none of her since she was taking all the pictures. For years I wanted to publish a book of camp songs. I actually made it into a book but then never did anything with it. Well, just today Emma said, "Mom, I was thinking I could write down all of the camp songs before I forget them and make a book of them." She is soooo my daughter. This past year I've seen so much of myself in her. It's amazing.

Makenzie is going to Coos Bay stake's girls camp as well this summer. I get to go on Friday night and I'm so jazzed about it. It's held at the same camp that I went to as a young woman. Lobster Creek Camp along the rogue river. Some of the same people that were there when I was going to camp are still there! I am really looking forward to seeing them, being at that amazing place and also to see what Makenzie thinks of it. My mom has been the bead lady at camp for many years now and has been holding out for 1 last year until she could go with Makenzie. My mom is looking forward to sharing this with her. I love girls camp. I had such amazing experiences at camp and would love to be a part of it again. I'm patiently waiting for the time that the Lord needs me there. Hopefully with three girls I will get that opportunity.
